The JAOPS team recently returned from SmallSat 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah, where we spent the week connecting with the open source space community.
We organized a side event covering Yamcs and our Grafana plugin, which drew a strong crowd and a lot of good discussion. We also took part extensively in the FPrime workshops and the sessions run by the Open Source Space Foundation, where we learned about several new projects in the ecosystem.
One of the highlights of the week was a running event organized by Ann Schulte of Plexus, which gave us the chance to spend time with the OpenC3 team and learn from their work.
Thank you to everyone who joined our session, ran with us, or simply stopped to talk. We learned a lot and are already looking forward to next year’s event.
