YAOKI Mission Data Demo
The Yamcs server JAOPS deployed for the Dymon YAOKI mission to the Moon in March 2025 is now hosted on the cloud.
This provides convenient access to all the data received during the mission (launch, cruise from Earth orbit to lunar orbit, landing and surface operations) and showcases the configuration of the Yamcs Mission Control System for lunar rover missions.
Lunar Rover Operations Demo
Yamcs + Grafana + OmniLRS lunar surface simulator
In December 2025, JAOPS organized a rover operations workshop in Tokyo where 30 participants used these open-source tools to train for controlling a simulated rover on the Moon.
This demo showcases the full training workflow: operators sends telecommands, the simulated rover reacts in realtime and updates the camera, payload, power, thermal, motor, radio telemetry for realistic decision making and scenarios.
